I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

Timothy 3:14-15

In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'

2 Corinthians 9:6-7
"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Giving

Each of us is called to worship God with our entire life, including our time, talents, and resources. Sharing those resources is an important way to worship the Giver of all good things. Generously giving teaches us to put Christ first in our lives. Each time we tithe (give 10% of our income), it becomes a reminder that God is in control and meets our every need.
If we trust in God’s goodness, we will trust Him with every area of our life. The scripture tells us, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10
This is the only place in Scripture where God tells us to put him to the test. In other words, he’s saying, “Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me.” So step out in faith and witness what God does in and through your life!
We also want to assure you and pledge to be good stewards of your gifts, taking great care in how we manage and track the resources entrusted to us.

Wills and Living Trusts

You can make a gift (bequest) to Mar Yosip Parish through your will or living trust in the following ways:

-A percentage of your total estate — In using this approach, your gift adjusts with changes in the size of your estate.

-The residue or a percentage of the residue of your estate
.
-After your specific gifts to loved ones have been made, you may designate that the entire residue or a percentage of the remainder shall go to Mar Yosip Parish. With this approach, as well, your gift adjusts with changes in the size of your estate.
